Sualeh was helpful, the shop was clean and well stocked. I sent a message and he answered quickly, offered to put a bike aside for me to look at, I got there and he showed me what he had, told me all about the bikes. I went in knowing a little, left feeling like I had a solid grasp of the options and feeling confident that I had the right bike. No pressure, just very helpful. If you're thinking about buying an e-Bike, go down to Voltz for sure, try them out and get educated. I'm happy with my new hiboy e-bike. Will return for future e-mobility for sure.

Great experience at Voltz!! Staff is super friendly and helpful, they want to see you have a good experience on the trails.. The eBike selection this store has is amazing, there are bikes and scooters for all ages and skill levels. We bought two eBikes here and are really enjoying them. We will be back..

Staff were super friendly, had excellent advice, and helped me explore literally every scooter to find a sick ride that fit my needs. The store was clean and organized, and they had great taste in music. They also were very supportive when I did my first test ride. I didn't intend on making a purchase on my very first visit but I'm thrilled with my choice. Thank you!

I don’t typically leave reviews but I absolutely have to recommend to come chat with Sualeh. I purchased the Hiboy P6 about 2 weeks ago & am never looking back from electric. For reference I am a petite woman, about 5’3, so I was nervous I wouldn’t feel comfortable on the HiboyP6. But after my first ride, I’m thrilled with the purchase & feel very confident riding. Thank you for your assistance with this purchase, and opening me up to a new world of adventure 😄

I would highly recommend Voltz Bikes! We ended up looking for E bikes on a Monday and unbeknown to us most Independent bikes shops are closed because they only open six days a week. The owner happened to be in the shop picking up a delivery when we walked in. He patiently walked us through all the different types of e-bikes and answered all of our questions. He was so knowledgable and gracious, and not pushy at all. Even though it was his day off and he had his family with him, he still took his time and we didn’t feel rushed. We ended up buying two gorgeous Emmo e-bikes from him and all the accessories. We love the bikes,we love the brand and we like him. His customer service is phenomenal. He knew we were heading to BC for the month of August and he made sure the bikes were ready for pick up at our convenience! We picked up the E bikes he gave us a demo and a walk-through, and answered all of our questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better buying experience for a product we knew little about!!!

Spoke with the manager first time there. He actually steered me away from the bike I was looking to buy for a much better for for me personally. Not only that, but the bike he helped me settle on was $300 cheaper than the one I originally intended on getting. Went back for fenders and a phone mount. Hands down will be back for studded tire's and a second battery. Won't go anywhere else.
Update.
I didn't want to write this but after days of YouTube, reddit and an actual mobile mechanic visit it was needed. Original rating was 5 stars and everything above in the original review rings true.
After a week, the brakes on the bike basically stopped working. I adjusted them via the adjuster on the handles as well as the calipers. Did ok for about 2 weeks. Not once from day one of owning the bike did I feel confident in my stopping power. Thinking that it's a heavy bike and I'm not the smallest dude, I accepted it as the norm.
Then the left peddle completely disintegrated. The bearings basically exploded out the end cap and the peddle fell off leaving the inner shaft attached. Keep in mind...
1: I commute to work. I'm not on trails, doing jumps, aggressively riding this thing in any way shape or form. In fact, I slow to a crawl to hop curbs just to be careful.
2: this happened while I basically had no stopping power. I had to drag the tops of my feet on gravel to slow enough to hit a grass hill.
I was defeated. I got home after walking the bike the rest of the way and ordered new pedals and mechanical actuated hydraulic calipers.
I did this because after researching the bike in general, everyone said the brakes were garbage and it was the first thing to upgrade.
Fair. It happens. I'll do that.
A week later, my new brakes had the same issue. Called a mobile mechanic, he came to my house and showed me how to actually install the brakes. I messed up. I didn't tighten the pads. I used the cable tensioning adjustments to try and dial it in.
Wait, we took the OEM calipers and tossed them on and bam. Sure enough, they weren't adjusted at all properly.
I paid an extra $100 to have my brakes installed improperly, to have my left peddle cross threaded, btw (that was an ordeal) and to have a great warranty. At this point, I didn't want to use it.
Keep in mind, they have warranty on bikes they assemble. I could have gotten this fixed. I'll visit this below.
Fact one, from his mouth, the manager assembled the bike.
Fact two. I brought the bike in after a while to have fenders installed and mentioned the stopping power issue and nothing was done with the brakes.
Fact three. I was wanting previously to buy a few parts from here but actually decided to get a second bike for the winter, fenders installed, studded tire's you name it. But now I feel it would be safer building it myself.

I have to reiterate.... I made the same mistake with the brakes that the store did with my brakes. I've never installed them in my life, I've never worked on a bike... In my life.
My final assessment, if you buy a bike from here. Make sure the tech and not the owner/manager did it. Test the bike and check for proper installation of the brakes (one should not have to do this.)
I want to support this place especially after them having a break in and with how nice and informative he was but, at this point in time I would say stear clear of this place unless you are mechanically inclined.
Two stars is generous and is only the case because of the experience I had while buying this thing.
